November 2007
Quick Update. Things have sort of stalled in the Hair Thieves camp, due to unforseen personal issues. We have had a few rehersals, for the gig that has now been cancelled. We have been remixing a track for another band. New pedals have been purchased. Patches are currently being written. Old pedals are in the process of being sold. A drummer may or may not have been found. More soon.

Up above is the cover for EP3. We are frantically trying to finish the EP for release very soon. We also have our first gig booked for December. We are still looking for a drummer.

We have found, (and rehearsed with) a new bass player. He is called Pete Haywood. More details, once I've got him to create a bio page.

Quick Update. Work is going slowly on EP3. The aim is to get it finished in the next month or so. We've settled on the four tracks that will make up the EP. More details to follow soon.

The website is now on my laptop, so updating can now commence. I've got the blog page updated and removed some dead links.
Expect more frequent updates now, plus a few other changes over the coming months.

Sorry again for lack of updates. But we have been fairly busy over the last couple of months, (and I still don't have the website on my new laptop).
E has posted a rough (unmixed) demo of a new song (off the forthcoming EP3). The song is called "Bad Consumer" and was written
with Red Star Radio guitarist Guy (who co-wrote Break the Casino on EP1). The song can be found on E's Myspace page.
Red Star Radio have also recorded a version of the song which can be found here.
Feel free to send us a message about the two versions.
Last week, at an open mic night, in Bridgnorth, Chris performed a new song off the forthcoming Hair Thieves album. The track is called "Assimilation". We haven't quite
finished writing it yet, nor started recording it. A few more new songs will be aired over the next few months at open mic nights around Shropshire.
At the moment, EP3, is pretty much three quarters done, so I'd expect us to finish it for a late spring / early summer release. The album is around half way done,
so it looking like an autumn / pre Christmas release.

Sorry for the lack of updates. The PC I use to update the site, is no more,
and the files have yet to be installed on the new laptop.
We have been
fairly busy recording tracks for the album and next EP. Details can be found on

Last update for the year. Our blog has been updated with the latest news and happenings of the Hair Thieves.

The website will be down for about 3 hours (allegedly) on Saturday October 14th at whatever 0200 MDT is in your local time.
Things mostly quiet on the Hair Thieves front. Work has started on organising the ideas for the album. If things go to plan, we might have a go at recording some of it this weekend. It's either that or finish editing the video for Shorewards.
September 2006
After a small break after EP2, we have started rehearsals for a small live set with the aim to play live towards the end of the year.
Work has also started on listening through the 7 or 8 songs we have on the go at the moment. Hopefully before the weekend the first new track for the
album will have vocals added. So that will be ready for mixing next week. Work has started on the lyrics for another. So we are very busy at the moment.

EP2 has been released for digital download from our Soundclick store. We have also bundled EP1 & EP2 up for download together. Some physical promotional copies of EP2 may be made available at the end of next week. More details to follow.
